About Us

Creative Café is a locally owned and operated business, founded and created in 2007 by Lynne Butler. Lynne moved to Barrie in 2005 from York Region with her family and 3 Children. With all the kids in school she needed a venture! After realizing that Barrie didn't have a ‘Paint Your Own Pottery Studio’ the juices started to flow! In October 2007 Creative Café opened its doors! With much help from her daughter Samantha and many learning curves the business began to grow…. The rest is history as they say.

With 3 studio location moves within Barrie and the addition of many other creative options such as Glass Fusing, Mosaics, Canvas Painting, Pottery Wheel, and Clay Hand Building, Creative Café is Barrie’s number one studio for creative and affordable Fun! No appointments necessary, ours lives are too scheduled as it is!

We have been privileged to serve the Barrie and Simcoe Community for eight years! In that time we have made many friends, donated thousands of dollars to great causes, achieved awards, helped hundreds of people celebrate birthdays, holidays and enjoyed quality time together. We help the non-creative feel creative and the already creative folks get to try new things.
